Arizona's Oldest Continuously Active Coin Club


The Club meets every 2nd (Business Meeting) and 4th Tuesday (Education Meeting) 
of every month from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. 

The Education meeting offers presentations from members  on his or her numismatic specialty. 

Every meeting  offers such topics such as "Show & Tell" and "Ask the Expert". 
 Door prizes are also available to all attending and raffle prices up to $25.00.
All visitors welcome at no charge.

The Club meets at the Fraternal Order of Police Hall.

February 14th Business Meeting
There were four new members voted into the club: Robert E Lee--collects US coins; Mike Adamczyk--collects Buffalo Nickels, Kennedy Halves, Mercury dimes;John Gengler [Jr mbr]—collects US coins:and Brandon Corwin—collects Morgan &
Peace dollars.

Surprise Visit!
Life Member and Past President Bo Bobjak surprised the membership with his visit to the February 14th Business Meeting. Bo left Tucson to moved back to his home town,  Philidelphia, 7 years ago. Bo Comments; "my heart still loves Tucson and I really miss the club." Bo stepped in for Chairmain Tony Tumonis to conduct the meeting auction. Welcome back Bo, we all missed you!

Standing Rule Reminder
All club meetings are open to the public and visitors are welcome at no charge. A club standing rule requires that anyone visiting more than 3 times must make a membership commitment to the club by completing a membership application, paying the appropriate dues, being announced in the Club Newsletter and voted into the club.

Visitors attending a "Bourse Night" are welcome to partake in the food, club meeting and bourse activities. They are also allowed to purchase coins and currency from the members. Visitors are not allowed to set up a presentation and sell to the membership or guest.

February 28th Education Meeting
The education Meeting will be held  at 7 PM. The speaker
will be Ted Sheppard. He will talk about Japanese coins.

Club Announcements

Junior Member Justin Sivley has been offered a ANA Summer Seminar Scholarship. He will spend 1 week in Colorado Springs at the ANA headquarters attending several numismatic classes along with touring the museum and headquarters facilities. This is an all expenses paid opportunity for Justin. The ANA encourages all attendees to bring items for the seminar auction, thus donations are being accepted to send with Justin. Additionally, Justin is working for the next several months to earn money so he can participate in the auction. Any TCC member willing to pay minimum wage and needing a young, strong, energetic fellow to perform odd jobs  please contact Albert Dreher, 419-0939, al@albertdreher.com   

Friendship Train Still Runs
If you need a ride to a meeting, contact Katherine Graves at 591-9217. Give Katherine notice a few days in advance, so she can make arrangements. Members can also use the Friendship Trains to link up with members who collect the same items to trade, buy, and sell.

Awards Banquet
The March 20th Education Meeting will be the Annual Awards Banquet. The banquet will be held at the Golden Corral Buffet & Grill. 4380 E. 22nd Street.
Attendees are encouraged to arrive at 6:00 pm, enjoy their dinner prior to the meeting coming to order at 7:00 pm. Members must purchase their own dinners, the club will cover the gratuity.
